Healing Sessions

"EVERYONE without exception is very, very special with extraordinary qualities and extraordinary powers. You just may not know it yet. The secret is to be, love and cherish yourself; it is to be your true essence. You are love and light, infinite wisdom and unlimited possibilities. Whatever you ask, you shall receive. You can have, be and do anything you want. You just need to choose what makes you happy in your heart. It is very simple. Remember, you are loved beyond measure for who you are and you are beautiful."

Author Unknown ~ but a very Wise Soul

The year 2013 is nearly three quarters of the way complete, can you believe that?  As the sun sets earlier and the wind and rain blow the leaves from the trees, we are reminded that it is time to LET GO.  We are at a gateway to a new season, a new cycle ~ in the circle of life. Step into the circle and give thanks as we gather the harvest that will sustain us through the darkness of the winter.  This time of year is also a good time for re-evaluation.  Ask yourself what is it that you really want in life…. What needs to change…. transmute…..transform?  Spend time with yourself this month nurturing your soul, taking long walks in the beautiful nature and delving deep into all that you are – you may be pleasantly surprised at what you discover J

Believe in yourself, in love, in trust, in magic, in angels, in happy endings, in God, in promises, in miracles, in people, in fairytales, in following your heart, in peace and happiness, in never growing up, in following your passions and making your dreams come true, in always having fun, in helping people, in making the world a better place, in changing for the better.

May the blessings of Autumn be upon you.

May God continue to bless your life

with the golden droplets of heaven.

In Love AND Gratitude for your presence in my life

The first day of Autumn is the time when things begin to shed, and the growth which was young in the springtime has now reached maturity. Animals begin preparing for winter, tree leaves turn colors, and the air takes on a chill. Most cultures consider this a time for harvesting crops and taking stock of life's fragility. It is also a time when people begin noticing the waning hours of daylight in anticipation for the Winter Solstice.  Since this time of year is one of the most temperate, it is also considered a good time for reflection on the meaning of life.

In every culture the Autumn Equinox signals the return of weather that favors slowing down, introspection, and conservation.  Taking a few moments to step outside to watch the sky and breath the air on the fall equinox can open your heart to change, accepting it, celebrating it, and even being grateful for the fact that all life is constantly in motion.

Think of the goals you've accomplished over the summer and the people who helped you accomplish them. Thank yourself for your efforts and thank each person out loud by name.

Imagine the sun rising above you, shining bright for 12 hours and retreating again for 12 dark hours. Allow the image to help you feel balanced within and to understand what steps are needed for more balance in your life. More sleep? Less play?  More satisfying employment? Give yourself time to explore the concept of personal balance and how you can have more of it and give thanks for all of the blessings you already have in your life.

Contribution to Peace:

World Peace Day is September 21st

I contribute to Peace when I feel compassion toward all those who suffer.

I contribute to Peace when I use my intelligence and my abilities to serve the Good....

I contribute to Peace when I rejoice over the happiness of others and pray for their well-being.

I contribute to Peace when I resort to dialogue rather than to force to settle any conflict.

I contribute to Peace when I respect Nature and preserve it for generations to come.

I contribute to Peace when I do not seek to impose my conception of God upon others.

I contribute to Peace when I listen with tolerance to opinions that differ from mine or even oppose them.

I contribute to Peace when I look upon all as my brothers and sisters, regardless of race, culture, or religion.

I contribute to Peace when I strive to express the best of myself in my contacts with others.

I contribute to Peace when I make Peace the foundation of my ideals and philosophy.

More people than not scoff at the idea of world peace. Believe it is possible to transform our world ... one act of loving kindness at a time. Remember:  A simple smile.  A warm handshake.  A kind word. A gentle hug. Through these, we open the transformative power of love.

The Life Cycle
Bud and Blossom and Beyond

by Madisyn Taylor

It is through watching the cycles of nature that we more fully understand the cycles of our own lives.

Flowers and leaves both begin their lives as organisms so tiny we cannot see them with the naked eye. With time, they become visible, curled in upon themselves, colorful buds slowly softening and releasing. With the proper warmth and moisture, they unfold little by little, revealing with each degree of opening a new color, shape, or dimension. Sometimes buds open seemingly all at once, unfolding the full majesty of their potential, of what looks to the human eye like courage, openness, and generosity.

As days go by, the bloom slowly moves through more stages, revealing still more colors, shapes, and dimensions of its essence. It falls apart, strewing its petals on the ground, or it wilts, or it closes back in on itself. When we can appreciate the full beauty of each stage of the cycle of life, from bud to blossom to disintegration, we feel more at home with our own earthly process. We can be inspired not to hold back the fullness of what we have to offer, knowing that our time to give of ourselves in this way will come to pass. At the same time, we can honor others, and the little processes that go on within the larger process of living our lives.

Each stage we go through has its time of fulfillment and recession, as do all living things. Every moment of every stage has its own particular beauty, and we can appreciate that, even as most of us tend to love the spectacular moment of full blossoming most of all. When we feel the wisdom contained in the budding, blossoming, and dissolution of a simple flower, we begin to feel it everywhere, in each moment that comes and goes, in each sunrise and sunset, in every hello and goodbye, as the very essence of the pulsating ebb and flow of existence.
