Healing Sessions

"EVERYONE without exception is very, very special with extraordinary qualities and extraordinary powers. You just may not know it yet. The secret is to be, love and cherish yourself; it is to be your true essence. You are love and light, infinite wisdom and unlimited possibilities. Whatever you ask, you shall receive. You can have, be and do anything you want. You just need to choose what makes you happy in your heart. It is very simple. Remember, you are loved beyond measure for who you are and you are beautiful."

Author Unknown ~ but a very Wise Soul

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you in this beautiful month of October.    Your assignment this month is to awaken each morning and let your very first thought be about gratitude.  Be grateful for each person who is in your life.  Be grateful for each opportunity you have to grow and learn.  Be grateful for just being alive.  Fill yourself with gratitude for everything in your life.  Everything.  And most of all, love yourself for being you exactly as you are.

The Angel of October - rejoices as we reap the harvest of what we have sown in life. October is a good time to step back from our projects and our dreams and to take a hard look at what we have actually accomplished.  The October angel helps us to be honest and objective about what is good and what is not.  With this help, we can face clearly the consequences of our choices over these past seasons.  We will taste our harvest and reject what is bitter or unripe; we will make note of what worked and what did not, and we will change for the better.  October's angel teaches us that the greatest fruit of our personal harvest is understanding ourselves.

Believe in yourself, in love, in trust, in magic, in angels, in happy endings, in God, in promises, in miracles, in people, in fairytales, in following your heart, in peace and happiness, in never growing up, in following your passions and making your dreams come true, in always having fun, in helping people, in making the world a better place, in changing for the better.

In Love AND Gratitude for your presence in my life

Every day is a time for thanks.  When we can appreciate the simplest gifts even in times of confusion and hardships, then we move forward.  A soul that appreciates the gifts of living, the true gifts, will reap rewards from being grateful and appreciative.  Prayers are heard and answered.    Be aware and respectful of all gifts offered to us.  The wise soul can look at all situations as a way for personal growth and advancement.

You will find that there is always an infinite supply of love and energy.  Give thanks for today, give thanks for YOU.  For without you, there would not be this moment now.  Thank God for your unique being, beauty and potential.

Beyond Counting Blessings
Being Truly Thankful

by Madisyn Taylor

Our gratitude deepens when we begin to be thankful for being alive during this time and living the life we are living.

Often when we practice being thankful, we go through the process of counting our blessings, acknowledging the wonderful people, things and places that make up our reality. While it is fine to be grateful for the good fortune we have accumulated, true thankfulness stems from a powerful comprehension of the gift of simply being alive, and when we feel it, we feel it regardless of our circumstances. In this deep state of gratitude, we recognize the purity of the experience of being, in and of itself, and our thankfulness is part and parcel of our awareness that we are one with this great mystery that is life.

It is difficult for most of us to access this level of consciousness as we are very caught up in the ups and downs of our individual experiences in the world. The thing to remember about the world, though, is that it ebbs and flows, expands and contracts, gives and takes, and is by its very nature somewhat unreliable. If we only feel gratitude when it serves our desires, this is not true thankfulness. No one is exempt from the twists and turns of fate, which may, at any time, take the possessions, situations, and people we love away from us. Ironically, it is sometimes this kind of loss that awakens us to a thankfulness that goes deeper than just being grateful when things go our way. Illness and near-miss accidents can also serve as wake-up calls to the deeper realization that we are truly lucky to be alive.

We do not have to wait to be shaken to experience this state of being truly thankful for our lives. Tuning in to our breath and making an effort to be fully present for a set period of time each day can do wonders for our ability to connect with true gratitude. We can also awaken ourselves with the intention to be more aware of the unconditional generosity of the life force that flows through us regardless of our circumstances.

Today I begin the day with gratitude; I know that there is a power in
gratitude that opens the heart and makes me and my life ready for even more
blessings. I take stock of
all the facets of my life, and notice that even
where I am feeling challenged, there is a blessing to be thankful for.

And gratitude keeps me open to receive the guidance, the support, the strength, and the wisdom I need to walk confidently through every day of my life.  And for this, I am indeed in a state of perpetual gratitude.

And so it is.

Today I choose to live with gratitude for the LOVE that fills my heart,The PEACE that rests within my spirit, and The voice of HOPE that says...All Things ARE Possible.

You are unique in all of the universe and you are living in this unique moment.  So fill yourself with a deep abiding gratitude for having this experience here and now.  Set aside your regrets for what you have done or left undone in the past.  It does not matter.  Set aside your fears and worries over what is coming in the future.  It will come as it will come, and no amount of fear or worry will make it better.

Clear yourself of all of that and come deeply into now.  Feel this moment flowing through you.   This moment flows through you and with each tick of the clock, that moment is passed and will never exist again, exactly like this.  How precious it is.  How precious is each and every tick of that clock, as it takes you through this great adventure of a life.

Nothing stays the same.  Everything evolves and changes.  Everything is vibrantly alive and evolving, even when it does not seem so.  Still, it is true.

And so, capture this time, capture it deep within you in a state of deep gratitude.  Be glad to be alive.  Be glad to know the people you know, to have the opportunities you have, to be the center of whatever life you have built for yourself.

And know that this constant state of change and evolution represents opportunity.  If everything is changing every moment, then you can help it all to change and flow in the direction you wish through your thoughts and actions, focusing them and challenging the world to move in the direction you wish.  This is within your power.

And if you begin with a state of gratitude, you will put yourself in the right frame of mind to make the right sort of changes happen around you.  Begin with loving everyone in your life, with acting toward them with love, with being grateful for their presence, and your relationships will begin to shift and evolve in a wonderful way.

As you move through your day, show your gratitude.  Take the time to tell people that you care.  Take the time to write that note you have been thinking of, to express your gratitude to everyone around you.  Look for opportunities to thank people, to compliment them, to acknowledge that they are in your life and contributing to it.

Look for opportunities to be nice to the people who help serve you, in the grocery store, the dry cleaners.  Everyone who crosses your path should be blessed with your love and gratitude.  Feel your connection to them.  Feel it and show it, demonstrate it.  Be conscious all week of what else you might do to demonstrate your gratitude to those around you.

And as for your family, bless them deeply in your heart.  Show them that you appreciate their steadfast loyalty, the fact that they are there for you.  Demonstrate it in everything you do and say.

Also spend a little time in nature, in a park or even just gazing out the window.  Notice the beauty of the world.  Notice the birds, the clouds, the beauty of a simple leaf or flower.  Notice the benevolent beauty of nature and say thank you in your heart.

Do this consciously throughout the week and then notice how wonderful it makes you feel.  How peaceful and loving it is.  See what a wonderful foundation it is for a life well-lived.  Experience what it is like to truly be glad for the great and wonderful things and people in your life.   And then, remember this feeling.  And as the weeks go by, if you find yourself again dwelling in a world of worry or criticism, remember what it was like in this week of gratitude and remind yourself to fill yourself with this good grace continuously, like a drink of water to a thirsty heart.

I AM thankful for all the blessings in my life and all the blessings that are yet to come.
