Happy New Year:   2017
Universal Energy for 2017:   2 + 0 + 1 + 7 = 10 = 1

A UNIVERSAL ‘1’ Year represents the start of a fresh new cycle – a new 9 year cycle of creativity, learning and growth.

A UNIVERSAL ‘1’ Year is a time to plant the seeds of intention for the forthcoming cycle – your deepest heartfelt desires, dreams and visions for every area of your life – relationships, health, finances, career, lifestyle, spirituality, and more.

The intentions & foundations you set in place during 2017 (preferrably early in 2017), mold the field of potentiality and set the tone & flow of energy within your life over the forthcoming 9 years.

Today is a new day, a new year, a new beginning.    It is a year brimming with unlimited possibilities.  Like a blank page of a script, you can write down your hopes and desires, and move the flow of your life along with the intention of your own thoughts.

Today the angels attend you, available to help you in your every need.

 Affirmation for the month

The Angel of January - teaches us to look within, to take stock of ourselves and our lives. The January angel keeps us company as we ponder over those long, cold winter nights, helping us to be honest with ourselves and patient at the same time. Conveying the wisdom of an elder, the January angel takes our hand as we seek to glean understanding from our lessons of the past year. With this support, we can give ourselves both recognition and admonition and admonition in their turn. With this help, we can chart a new course or alter our present one. We seek and receive the companionship of the January angel to warm us through the winter of our introspection.

THE NEW YEARS VOW  by Debbie Ford

My life is worth a billion blessings to all those I meet on my journey.

I am the heaven and all that exists in the sky above.

I am the vastness of my greatest thought and the infinite power that sources and sustains the entire universe.

On this day, I will remember who I am, what I am here for and why I chose the experiences that have come into my path this past year.

Today, I promise to leave the smallness of my darkest thoughts and melt with open arms into the never-ending, all-powerful love of my highest self.

Today, I surrender into the open arms of 2017, allowing each day of the upcoming year to surprise, comfort and nourish my soul's deepest desires.

I vow to return to the spark of the divine and use my power to light up the world.

This year, I will give to others what I want back for myself.

If I want love, I will find ways to love each and every person I come across.

If I want peace, I will think peaceful thoughts, say peaceful words and pray for peace for all those who are living in chaos, including myself.

If I want success, I will work diligently to help those around me succeed. I will stay focused, do my absolute best and seek excellence in everything I do.

If I want respect, I will begin by respecting life and all that comes with it. I will respect those around me and those who work hard to make this planet a better place. I will respect the earth, my body, my past and the gifts that I hold and I will surrender judgment for reverence.

In 2017, I trust that what I give to the world will be given back to me.

creating. The paths are not to be found, but made. And the
activity of making them changes both the maker and their

In this New Year 2017,  Neale Donald Walsch believes God wants you to know . . .

1. Life begins at the end of your comfort zone. You won't find glory at the center of safety, but at its edge.

2. It may seem that you cannot control exterior circumstances, but you can always control interior ones.

3. Ninety-five percent of what you worry about never even comes to pass, and the other 5 percent is not worth the worry.

4. Good is flowing to you every day. How much of it you experience depends on how much of it you can accept.

5. Your light is seen, your heart is known, your soul is cherished by more people than you might imagine. If you knew how many others have been touched in wonderful ways by you, you would be astonished.

6. Arguments get you nowhere, and being 'right' is rarely helpful. What works when there is a disagreement is love.

7. Everything is perfect Right Here, Right Now. And Right Here, Right Now is all there is.

8. Ask yourself: "How much difference will this make when I'm 85?" If you think it will matter then, let it matter now.

9. Every day, you have a chance to be Right or to be Love.

10. You are part of a Larger Whole, and you are never, ever alone.

The Road to New Beginnings

by Madisyn Taylor

Just as new beginnings are important, so is honoring the experience of closure.

Life is a collage of beginnings and endings that run together like still-wet paint. Yet before we can begin any new phase in life, we must sometimes first achieve closure to the current stage we are in. That’s because many of life’s experiences call for closure. Often, we cannot see the significance of an event or importance of a lesson until we have reached closure. Or, we may have completed a certain phase in life or path of learning and want to honor that ending. It is this sense of completion that frees us to open the door to new beginnings. Closure serves to tie up or sever loose ends, quiets the mind even when questions have been left unanswered, signifies the end of an experience, and acknowledges that a change has taken place.

The period of completion, rather than being just an act of finality, is also one of transition. When we seek closure, what we really want is an understanding of what has happened and an opportunity to derive what lessons we can from an experience. Without closure, there is no resolution and we are left to grieve, relive old memories to the point of frustration, or remain forever connected to people from our past. A sense of completion regarding a situation may also result when we accept that we have done our best. If you can’t officially achieve closure with someone, you can create completion by participating in a closure ritual. Write a farewell letter to that person and then burn your note during a ceremony. This ritual allows you to consciously honor and appreciate what has taken place between you and release the experience so you can move forward.

Closure can help you let go of feelings of anger or uncertainty regarding your past even as you honor your experience – whether good or bad - as a necessary step on your life’s path. Closure allows you to emotionally lay to rest issues and feelings that may be weighing down your spirit. When you create closure, you affirm that you have done what was needed, are wiser because of your experience, and are ready for whatever life wants to bring you next.

Divine spirit
thank you for giving me the capacity for wholeness
Thank you for this very precious moment
A moment where I am present
to all the goodness that exists
inside and outside of me
A moment that inspires thoughts of a greater future
A future where I can love and be loved
where I can serve and be served
A future where I humbly and gracefully
contribute my soul's gifts to the world
A future that is filled with abundance and miracles
Today I open my arms to the loving presence
that will awaken me to my greatness
and fill my future with surprises
I surrender my life and will
to the greatest power in the universe
Today I accept my worth and my worthiness
And so it is

Burst out of your Cocoon - Can you sense that one phase of your life is ending and a new one is beginning?   Do you feel that you are on the verge of exciting new possibilities but aren't sure where they'll come from?  Does it seem that the life as you know it is crumbling before your eyes?  You aren't imaging things nor are you in danger.  You're simply breaking free from past karma and releasing your spirit to a greater tomorrow.  Your soul's purpose right now, like a butterfly finding it's way out of it's cocoon, is to shed the past and soar to new heights.  You're on the threshold of spreading your spiritual wings in a brand - new directions of understanding and embracing your full potential.  This is a very exciting time, and well worth preparing for. Your souls lesson, clear the decks and release what no longer attracts you. Step away from things and situations, and people that bring you no joy or vitality, because you can't reach out for something greater if you don't first drop what’s in your hand. You're entering spiritual adulthood, able to fully engage with life on your terms. Change can be difficult, but don't be afraid, even the butterfly as it emerges from the cocoon thinks that it is dying.  All that's ending is an old, stagnant self that no longer serves your spirit, so turn your fear into action. Who are you today and what do you want to experience right now?  The answer is unfolding, and you'll love what you discover. Nothing stands in your way.

You deserve an unimaginable future, one that exceeds your expectations and your deepest desires. You can have it. It is your birthright through your divine connection.

How to create  what  you desire in 2017

1. Decide what you want to have, be and do this year.  Be specific. The more specific in your intention or goal the easier it is to realize it.  Make a commitment to your desire. Don’t be wishy-washy.   If you are not sure of what you are wanting, then you send mixed messages and this blocks or slows the process of our goals from manifesting. Know what it is you are wanting and be specific.

2. Write it down.   Write down your goals or desires in your journal or you may want to place them in a sacred place such as a designated box or drawer. A wonderful idea is called a Creation box. Abraham-Hicks suggests finding a special box and call it your “Creation Box.” Write on it “whatever is contained in this box –IS!” Write your intention, goal, desire with detail. Again, the more specific the better. By writing your desires down you make a commitment to them.

3. Affirm.   Create an affirmation in the present tense. Write what it is you are wanting and use a present tense verb. State your affirmation as a desire all ready manifested. What you are doing is suggesting to your subconscious mind that this is all ready a reality. You are now in control. The secret to affirmations is to say and/or write them at least 15 minutes daily (you may want to break them up to get your 15 minutes in) for 30 days to get into the new habit of using affirmations. It is a proven fact that we are habitual people and to undo or start a new habit/routine it takes 30 days.

Make the commitment to shift your thought patterns by giving yourself a month to retrain your mind to think good thoughts instead of the negative tape recorder. You know, the negative voice in your mind that runs over and over.... By repeating your affirmation you reprogram your subconscious mind. Whatever you suggest to your subconscious mind it believes is real. This is the power of suggestion at it’s best.

4. Visualize.   See yourself doing, having and being what you have been affirming as all ready a reality. Visualize yourself doing exactly what you want, having exactly what you want and being the person you want to be. Your subconscious mind will believe you and do all it can to make your thoughts real.

5. Create a Prayer.  Ask for Spirit to support you in your goals, desires, and intentions. Invite your angels, the archangels, ascended masters and the Divine Universe to help you.  Create a prayer.

Remember, our thoughts create.   In the energy of 2017, control your life by consciously focusing on what you desire.  A great way to help you refocus your thoughts is through appreciation or gratitude. If you are around someone who is negative or something gets you down, consciously look for something to feel grateful for such as the beautiful day, the sun, a smile from a stranger, or other blessings. This will help you stop yourself from a negative spiral and shift into one of joy.  When we are in joy we will attract our good.

So, in the coming year,  be conscious of your thoughts, feelings, words and actions.     For what we wish for ourselves we wish for others.    Let it be blessings of abundance, well-being, love and joy.

And so it is.

“You stand at the threshold of a grand adventure. And the extent to which
you are able to experience the fullness of that journey is determined
by the extent to which you are able to let go of the scenarios that no
longer serve you.”

This statement of readiness opens a door to the Universe.  We cannot plan for all the possibilities that living "in the
flow of the Universe" holds because the possibilities are limitless.  We acknowledge that "right now" is the only time
that exists.  We are ready right now and we are ready for all the right nows to come.  No need to wait for something
to happen (marriage or divorce or job or career or move, etc.), we are ready right now to go with the flow, to grow
with the flow, to glow with the flow.  We are ready to live fully.

Are you ready?  Maybe you are just "ready to be ready" or "willing to be ready."  Wherever you are is the perfect
place for you to be.  Allow and accept.  If you have a belief that something must happen before you can live in the
flow, you may find it helpful to recognize that such a belief limits your present experience.  An event or person
or condition you hope or believe will change your life for the better may be just another opportunity for you to
disempower yourself.  Why take a chance by expecting the external to change the internal?  Live in the flow RIGHT
NOW, right where you are.  External conditions are constantly changing, so it is important to live in the flow
no matter what the conditions.

The mighty oak tree was once a little nut that stood its ground.

Consider that the lessons from our life experiences can make us appreciate the joy of growing into ourselves. Living life day by day, breath by breath, step by step is the only way to be everything you were meant to be! 2017 could be the year to shift into a whole new universe! The writer Joseph Campbell once said, "We must be willing to get rid of the life we've planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us."  Let 2017 develop you into a new person with traits and interests your old 2016 self didn't have.

This year give beyond reason. Care beyond hope. Love without limit. Reach, stretch, and dream in spite of fear. These are the hallmarks of divinity - traits of the immortal - your badges of honor as a spiritual being, along that sometimes dark road that leads to enlightenment, and the way home .
