Healing Sessions

"EVERYONE without exception is very, very special with extraordinary qualities and extraordinary powers. You just may not know it yet. The secret is to be, love and cherish yourself; it is to be your true essence. You are love and light, infinite wisdom and unlimited possibilities. Whatever you ask, you shall receive. You can have, be and do anything you want. You just need to choose what makes you happy in your heart. It is very simple. Remember, you are loved beyond measure for who you are and you are beautiful."

Author Unknown ~ but a very Wise Soul

The trees have turned beautiful colors, the leaves are still falling on the ground and there is a slight shimmering of newly fallen snow, let’s be reminded that life is ever-changing.  But with surrender, faith and trust, we KNOW that in the midst of change, everything is possible and with a new perception, everything is beautiful.  Trust that you will be carried wherever you need to go.  Trust that you are exactly where you are supposed to be on your path right now.

Take a slow and even breath and imagine yourself filled with positive thoughts of change. In your mind's eye, feel yourself courageous, strong, and unafraid of change.
Imagine yourself easily breaking from old ways and patterns that do not serve you well. See yourself going forward toward the new with faith and assurance and KNOW that all is well !!!!

As we near the Christmas holidays, remember to live in the moment, breathe, nurture YOURself, be kind to yourself and others, smile and laugh as much as possible and do not take life so seriously – en-JOY the ride !!!

“ I accept myself just as I AM and go with the flow”

Our moments of greatest ecstasy and peace are found when we accept ourselves just as we are.   In that acceptance, we demonstrate our trust in the river.   When we trust the river, it carries us where we need to go.

The Angel of November -  Angel of Grace

Poise and elegance in form, attitude, and action. Give up struggle and allow the universe to participate in the creation of your life.

Grace is a healing balm that soothes our nervous system and relaxes our stance in the world. It gives margins to our souls allowing them to be held in the deep state of a soft heart. In a world of static and adversity that robs feelings of happiness, Grace is the aura of goodness. Allow it to saturate your activities and restore your state of calmness.

Sound a Grace note this month. Your words can bring the remedy of grace, whether it is your own self talk or when speaking with another. Words are an instrument to heal or wound, to connect or separate. Let your words encourage, ease, and soothe the nervous system of humanity with the healing balm of grace.

By James Redfield

Gratitude can power our creativity in the world.
The secret of using this power is exactly as you might think: We merely have to remember to activate it.
To use Gratitude, first align yourself on the side of good, and the helpful.  There is a Karmic Design in the Universe that increases your personal power based on the motivation to uplift others and to help them live more fully.  The mere “asking" of how you might help another opens up your channel of intuitive guidance. You will receive the thought that shows you exactly what to do.
Stay aligned with this Karmic Design and you will also be given guidance that will help you as well.  You will be shown how to breakthrough what is holding you back, how to discover your best talents, and how to find the perfect place to push spiritual reform in a particular workplace.
Staying in Gratitude accelerates the process.  Your intentions are grounded and strengthened when you acknowledge that you are being guided by a Divine Connection that feels like a download of a greater part of yourself.  Gratitude establishes the “faith-power” behind your intentions.  When you are thankful that an intention will manifest, that it is meshed with the Divine intent of helpfulness, your aligned life and creativity can rise to a new level.
All together, gratitude keeps us on the right side of spiritual evolution, and in the best life we can have.

 Anything Is Possible

Believe in Yourself,
and Remember that
Anything Is Possible

Believe in what makes you feel good.
Believe in what makes you happy.
Believe in the dreams you've always wanted to come true,
and give them every chance to.

Life holds no promises
as to what will come your way.
You must search for your own ideals
and work towards reaching them.

Life makes no guarantees as to what you'll have.
It just gives you time to make choices
and to take chances
and to discover whatever secrets might come your way.

If you are willing to take the opportunities you are given
and utilize the abilities you have,
you will constantly fill your life
with special moments and unforgettable times.

No one knows the mysteries of life or its ultimate meaning,
but for those who are willing
to believe in their dreams and in themselves,
life is a precious gift in which anything is possible.

Words of Wisdom

·         Give people more than they expect and do it cheerfully.

·         Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have, or sleep all you want.

·         When you say, "I love you", mean it.

·         When you say, "I'm sorry", look the person in the eye.

·         Never laugh at anyone's dreams. People who don't have dreams don't have much.

·         Remember that great love and great achievements involve great risk.

·         Call your mom.

·         Say "bless you" when you hear someone sneeze.

·         When you lose, don't lose the lesson.

·         Don't let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

·         When you realize you've made a mistake, take immediate steps to correct it.

·         Smile when picking up the phone. The caller will hear it in your voice

·         Spend some time alone.

·         Open your arms to change, but don't let go of your values.

·         Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

·         Read more books and watch less TV.

·         Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immortality.

·         Be gentle with the earth.

·         Pray. There's immeasurable power in it.

·         Never interrupt when you are being flattered.

·         Mind your own business.

·         Once a year, go someplace you've never been before.

·         Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a stroke of luck.

·         Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

·         Remember that your character is your destiny.

·         Approach love and cooking with reckless abandon.

“Every moment of your life is infinitely creative

and the universe is endlessly bountiful.

Just put forth a clear enough request,

and everything your heart desires

must come to you.”

Are you finding that chronic stress is affecting your relationships, sleep and the way you deal with life?

These days' women are running more than ever to try and get more done than any other time in history. We keep going even though there are days when we feel like we have nothing left. Then we run on our adrenal hormone cortisol as well as add caffeine to our diet to handle what we feel we have to and just keep on going. At first we can recover from all the demands we put on our bodies and minds. However, when this goes on for too long we deplete our adrenal hormone reserves and begin to operate in continuous fight or flight mode. This is when we feel heavy, bogged down and possibly see health challenges.

Did you ever ask yourself, why do I need to be Superwoman? What does it give me? Do I give so much to make sure I will be loved in return?

If this is the case, it is time to re-evaluate.  Can you lower your standards just a bit and still feel OK about yourself?  Can you let go of how you think everything should be done and delegate more?  We feel stress wjen we believe we must do something that contradicts our core values.  It’s important to check in with ourselves first before committing to support another.  Ask yourself does it feel right?  Do I have enough to give to another or do I first need to re-charge my battery before I contribute my energy?  In order to be our most radiant selves, we need to be true to what we hold important deep in our hearts.

Stress also occurs when we wish that something is different from what it is! That this body isn't it, that this husband isn't it, that this job isn't it. Living in the moment accepting what is so is where the power is. These wonderful books can add light on the subject. Loving what is by Byron Katie, and The power of now by Eckhart Tolle. I know it's easier said than done, however the first step is to be mindful of what we are creating and why. From there ask yourself if your way of being is working for you or not. It may be time for an authentic conversation with yourself.

Here are 6 tips that can support you on your journey to calming down..

1) Actively manage

stress hormones - Stress can cause challenges with moods, sleep, and blood sugar issues. Chronic fear, resentment, anger, and sadness trigger stress hormones as well. To support this eat a low glycemic diet, include vitamin D through cod liver oil as it has been shown to reduce stress and naturally increase the feel-good chemical serotonin which is known to reduce anxiety. Magnesium is also important as it supports the cardiovascular, respiratory, and nervous systems as well as decreases stress headaches. Many people have low levels of magnesium and this deficiency is associated with emotional and mental stress. This may occur as the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline release magnesium from the cells.

Epsom salts are mostly made of magnesium, so soak in a tub with 1/2 cup of Epsom salts and you will be replenishing your magnesium in a relaxing way.

2) Sleep - There is no better way to rest and restore at the cellular level than sleep.  Managing your stress with yoga, meditation, any form of mild exercise and sleeping 7-10 hours are all excellent ways to rejuvenate the mind and body.

3) Be aware of emotions and thoughts - Your beliefs are key to your health. Take time to listen to your thoughts and know that each of your cells are listening as they all have consciousness. How do you talk to and about your body? Notice if this way of talking serves your highest good.

4) Feel your feelings and then let them go - A wise teacher once told me it takes approximately 4 minutes for an emotion to move through your physical body. Most of us hold onto emotions and ruminate in them for what can seem like hours or days. It is important to allow yourself to feel all emotions and then let them go. Think about how you feel when you are full of joy or love. The sensation of these feelings bathes your cells in oxytocin which brings health to the body and mind.

5) Have a relationship with the Divine - Take the time to connect to your own spirit. Allow yourself to co-create health together with the power of the Divine which may give you an eagle  perspective. Allow your heart to open to the power of love, nature and all sentient beings as everything is connected.

6) Do something that gives you pleasure each day - pleasure and fun decreases the stress hormones cortisol and adrenaline. Think of things to do that relax your whole being like an essential oil bath, reading, meditating, listening to music, taking a walk, dance, laugh and surrounding yourself with nourishing people.

It is time to stand in our power and truth, in love with self and others, honoring our worth !  It is time to come together in support of communities of women as we step up and know that we are a force to be reckoned with…. In order to be our most radiant selves we need to feel healthy, well and strong from the inside out.

…… Thank you Sharon for the words of wisdom !

The beautiful gifts of gratitude begin at home - so today, invite a healing to happen
in your own body, in your own consciousness, in your own loving heart that feels blessed to be alive.

Notice all the riches you've been given:
the feet that allow you to stand,
the legs that allow you to walk,
the stomach that allows you to eat,
the lungs that allow you to breathe,
the throat that allows you to speak,
the mouth that allow you to taste,
the nose that allows you to smell,
the eyes that allow you to see,
and your beating heart that allows you to love.
Honor them all.

Become present to the treasures of your life:
the opportunities that you have been given,
the ones that have effortlessly opened up for you this year.
Reflect on your family, your kids, your partner, your friends.
Look through appreciative eyes, the eyes of what's right, the eyes of the divine.
Give thanks in a way that you never have before.

Allow fear, doubt, struggle and pain to melt away in the presence of this all-loving appreciation.
Thank God that you have a consciousness that is able to shift and transform in just a moment.
Thank God that you are courageous enough to take a moment to bless yourself,
to bless the universe, to bless all those who love and guide you,
and then to bless all of the world,

Send your tears of love and gratitude
to those who are in pain,
to those who are alone,
to those who are confused.
Allow the heavenly vibration of gratitude to puncture their fearful illusions
and open up their hearts to what is truly divine.

Today, take this vow of deep self-love and gratitude,
knowing that when you are in the presence of this kind of love,
you - as well as all of those around you - will flourish.
Take five slow deep breaths, breathing in
love, appreciation, gratitude and joy.
Know that you are never alone and you will never be alone.
The angels are surrounding you with love.

Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it.  Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumoured by many, or merely on the authority of your teachers and elders.  But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason, then accept it and live up to it.
