NEWSLETTER #26 - JUNE 1, 2007


Ahhh,  the warm weather is finally here – the sun is shining brightly, the birds are chirping, flowers and plants are beautifully decorating the landscape, people are planting their gardens, school is nearly finished for the summer J,   There are lots of changes in the air – more people are moving, changing, transforming and transmuting all the old energies of the earth.  It can also be a chaotic and stressful time for a lot of us, but if we can spend a few moments each day and go within our magnificent self ~ and breathe ~ and appreciate ourselves for who we are, who we have become and what we have already achieved in our life ~ then we can come back to our center of peace and KNOW that all is really well in our life and we are EXACTLY where we are supposed to be on our path.   Ahhh, breathe………

I trust that the words on these pages plant beautiful seeds within you and that you all grow into the beautiful shining stars that YOU ARE.

May you bring into each new day lots of playfulness and laughter, love and peace, kindness and gentleness, new adventures and new beginnings.   Each day is a brand new day for you to CREATE exactly what you want.  May the angels always guide you and light your path.

~ You are perfect exactly as you are ~

Set your goals, if that is what you wish to do.  Pursue them with every ounce of energy and commitment that is within you, if that is what you care to do.  But as you do this, know also this:  your happiness and internal peace do not depend upon meeting these goals. 

You are all that your soul self requires right now, without any alteration of this moment whatsoever.  You are all that you need to be right now, this moment.  And all the hopes and dreams of the universe are met in you even as you read these words, right now, right here, in this moment, in this instant, exactly as you are.  Nothing more is required of you than to be your shining wondrous self, right here, right now.

You are right, you are perfect, you are complete, just as you are.  There is nothing missing, nothing lacking.  There have been no mistakes.  There is no correction required. There is no forgiveness to seek.

You are on a path of learning and growth, not a path to demonstrate some vision of perfection that someone has incorrectly laid out for you.  You were as you were.  You have had the experiences you have had.  And all of it, every moment, every choice, every apparently successful event and every apparent failure as well, have all led you to now, right now, this moment.  And this moment is perfect in its unfolding, exactly as it is.

This is a truth we repeat often, but it bears repeating, because everything within you argues against it.  You argue against it because of what you are told about continually seeking new ways of being.  And you argue against it because of your deep doubt about your essential wonder.

And while it is true that you should seek evolution, you should also understand that evolution is a natural state that happens when you relax and allow yourself to go deep and feel and appreciate your wonder.  Evolution is the natural outgrowth of loving yourself, not the natural outgrowth of self-criticism.  And so an acceptance of yourself is the shortest path to achieving the ultimate state of perfection you seek, for that perfection already exists within you, right now.

You are perfect exactly as you are.  For perfection is simply an acceptance of the wonder of all existence and your place within it.

The only goal you need to have is achievable right now.  And that is the goal of self-love.  Right now, right here, you may give yourself this gift.  It is always yours to give and to have.  Just one deep breath, and all the happiness and joy in the universe are within you, right here, right now.


Here is a little prayer for today

I feel who I am right now.  I know who I am and feel it completely right here, right now.  I am all that I need to be, even as I reach for something higher, even as I stretch and strive, even as I aspire to be more, I know that I am enough, exactly now, exactly as I am, right here, right now.

I give thanks for this moment, right now.  It is all that I could ever hope for, right now.  I am all that I could ever wish to be, within this perfect moment.  For I am the ultimate expression of the universe, made manifest through my glory, right now.  I am.

A Five-step Meditation


A first step in meditation is to be able to introspect without fear or compromise. This exercise takes you through an open door into the vast labyrinth of your unconscious so that you may begin to appreciate and love who you are. Sit comfortably in a pleasant room and close your eyes

1. Withdraw energy mentally from everything around you - not to reject or resist, but to turn your attention inwards.  You might think of how a tortoise withdraws into its shell to detach itself from the outside world, but carrying the experience of the world with it inside its shelter.

2. Create a point of consciousness. Focus on the center of your forehead. Think of this point as a radiant star.  This will transmit positive energy, making you feel good about yourself.

3. Affirm the positive energy through positive thoughts and images about yourself, such as "I am a conscious being, "or "I am a peaceful soul."

4. Focus your energy on peace and let this become the object of your meditation.  As you focus, you will give peace life, turning a thought into a feeling.

5. Experience this feeling by "watering" it with your full attention.  This is the beginning of self- realization through meditation.

Be Thankful

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times.
During those times you grow.

Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes.
They will teach you valuable lessons.

Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are also thankful for the setbacks.

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they can become your blessings.

The Power of Appreciation and Gratitude
Appreciation and gratitude are two of the most powerful emotional states we can be in.
Appreciate everything. Express gratitude for every single moment of your life. The more you create 
feelings of appreciation and gratitude, the more you will attract into your life which you can appreciate 
and for which you can feel gratitude. 
Gratitude is one of the highest vibrations in which we can be. Look for things for which you can be grateful. 
Everyday, you can play the GRATEFUL GAME. 
Either by yourself or with your family, share out loud what you are grateful for.
Everything counts.  Keep going and see how big you can make your list.

There once was a little boy who had a bad temper. His Father gave him a bag of nails
and told him that every time he lost his temper, he must hammer a nail into the back of the fence. The first day, the boy had driven 37 nails into the fence Over the next few weeks, as he learned to control his anger, the number of nails hammered daily gradually dwindled down.

He discovered it was easier to hold his temper than to drive those nails into the fence.
Finally the day came when the boy didn't lose his temper at all. He told his father about it and the father suggested that the boy now pull out one nail for each day that he was able to hold his temper.
The days passed and the young boy was finally able to tell his father that all the nails were gone. The father took his son by the hand and led him to the fence He said, "You have done well, my son, but look at the
holes in the fence. The fence will never be the same. When you say things in anger,
they leave a scar just like this one. You can put a knife in a man and draw it out. It won't matter how many times you say I'm sorry, the wound is still there. " A verbal wound is as bad as a physical one.



I am gratitude and grace, full of a deep joy in the bounty that is mine.  I take deep pleasure in my talents and letting my soul sing out in joy.  I am deeply blessed to have the talents that are mine and I create the time in my life to pursue them to their fullest.

I love my life.  I love myself.  I am deeply grateful for all that I have and am.  I am Love.

Before you go to sleep, think of or write in your journal 3 to 5 things you appreciated that day – or made you happy.    Appreciation is very important – because the more we focus on the good things in our life, more good comes into our life.    And remember to say – thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you – for EVERYTHING.
