How would our lives change if we took time each day…. to notice and comment upon the beauty of nature that we witness?… If we spoke to our friends and family of good memories and our goals for the future… if we took the time each day to smile at strangers and compliment the people in our life… if we took the time to appreciate each other and spread loving words and kindness…if we took the time to forgive ourselves and others ~ to not harbour on the injustices of the past but to move forward with hope, faith and love…  If we took the time to be grateful for all the blessings in our life and not complain about the things we do not have.   Try this for one day, and you will see your life start changing for the better.   One day you will wake up and say   “I love my life, I am in my power, my bliss, my loving-heart,   I AM THAT I AM –  I  AM ONE WITH ALL -   I AM LOVE – I AM JOY – I AM PEACE.    Ahhhhhhhhhh, what a wonderful place to be J   May you re-member to play and talk with your angels.  They are always there to guide you and light your path.  May your journey into your I AM PRESENCE be gentle and sweet.

allows us to gracefully release the judgments of the
mind, guiding us to 'think with our hearts', to
appreciate what IS, and IN-JOY life ... whether the sun is shining or there are grey skies

Today I begin the day with gratitude; I know that there is a power in
gratitude that opens the heart and makes me and my life ready for even more
blessings. I take stock of all the facets of my life, and notice that even
where I am feeling challenged, there is a blessing to be thankful for.

And gratitude keeps me open to receive the guidance, the support, the strength, and the wisdom I need to walk confidently through every day of my life.  And for this, I am indeed in a state of perpetual gratitude.

And so it is.

Nine Agreements for Co-Creating through the
Higher Laws of Love and Gratitude:

   1.  I agree that a world of Love and Gratitude begins
with me.  I choose to be a conscious mirror and model
of the change I wish to see in the world.

   2. I agree to consciously set an intention for
manifesting something miraculous in my life -- every
day and in every way.

   3. I agree to tap into Gratitude on a daily basis and
as much as possible in every waking moment.  I know
that the rewards of doing so flow through and extend
beyond me, strengthening the collective field of
Gratitude from which we may all derive benefit.

   4. I agree to be a consistently uplifting inspiration
in all my interactions.  I commit to see and mirror
back the greatness of each soul who crosses my path.
I choose to discover and nurture the light within so
that it may shine forth to others and magnify their

   5. I agree to honor each individual's right to choose
their own belief system and life path.

   6. I agree to be open to both give and receive within
my local and global community. In all my dealings,
I seek win-win, mutually edifying interactions and transactions.

   7. I agree to be my word in my exchanges with others.
I realize that my personal influence is magnified to
the degree I am able to keep my word with myself
and others.  If something comes up and I decide to
change what I had agreed upon, then I agree to make
that communication as soon as possible to the
affected party.

   8. I agree to love and enjoy my life as much as possible!

   9. And, last but certainly not least, I agree to be
Grateful for ME!

There once was a woman who woke up one morning, looked in the mirror, and noticed she had only three hairs on her head.
'Well,' she said, 'I think I'll braid my hair today.'
So she did and she had a wonderful day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror
and saw that she had only two hairs on her head.
'Hmmm,' she said, 'I think I'll part my hair down the middle today.'  So she did and she had a grand day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that she had only one hair on her head.
'Well,' she said, 'Today I'm going to wear my hair in a pony tail.'  So she did and she had a fun, fun day.

The next day she woke up, looked in the mirror and noticed that there wasn't a single hair on her head.
'YEAH!'  she exclaimed, 'I don't have to fix my hair today!'

Be kinder than necessary,

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass...

It's about learning to dance in the rain!

Are you happy with yourself?
Are you doing what you like?
Gather courage and go for it.
Life belongs to those who dare to live.

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.
They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.
On their return from their trip, the father asked his son,
"How was the trip?"
"It was great, Dad."
"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.
The son answered:  "I saw that we have one dog and they had  four.
We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden andthey have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."
The boy's father was speechless.
Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."
Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

Appreciate every single thing you have, especially
your friends!

The Law of Least Effort

When it comes to healing, The Chopra Center for Well Being suggests applying "The Law of Least Effort" which Dr. Deepak Chopra defines as this:

Accepting people, situations, and events as they occur. Taking responsibility for your situation and for all events seen as problems. Relinquishing the need to defend your point of view.

How does this formula make for an easy and happy life?

First, by accepting people, situations, and events as they occur, we surrender our need to control others. Think about it-what happens when we don't accept people, situations, and events as they occur? We generally wind up trying to control them! Many have learned, from trial and error, this universal truth: It's impossible to control others and almost impossible to control most situations. And "control" is the opposite of "freedom." When we want to be free, we mustn't control. Pastor Reinhold Niebuhr made famous this prayer: "God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."

Second, when we take responsibility for our lives, we are no longer held hostage by the past; the present views, opinions, and actions of others; or our fears about the future. Many mistake the real meaning of "taking responsibility, " associating it with carrying a self-burden, guilt, and blame. When we take responsibility, we take charge of our emotions and forgive. I like to think of forgiving as literally giving back (or "fore" giving) to others the responsibility they may have inappropriately placed on us through wrong- doing. By forgiving with love, we allow ourselves freedom to move forward. And we give those who've hurt us the opportunity to heal. This helps everyone!

Last, when we relinquish the need to defend our point of view, we can rest easy. In so doing, we gain confidence, strengthen self-worth, and solidify our godly purpose. When we can stand firm in the truth of our divine selves, we are ready to serve our world in a profound way. It is by fulfilling our purpose through service that we gain the greatest joy in life.

For this week's homework, set an intention to strengthen and develop the characteristics required to live "The Law of Least Effort."

Many Blessings,
Rebecca Hintze
